I’m not going on an exotic holiday this Easter. None of us are. But I’m planning to still make the most of it and getting dressed up for the ‘daycations’ I’ve put in the diary.Because from tomorrow, several new activities are back on the ‘allowed’ agenda and as we are gradually released from lockdown, it’s a first chance to see some of the friends and family we haven’t been able to meet in months.
Takeaway coffee catch-ups in cities, park picnics for six, and garden barbecues are all to be greenlit on the Government’s road-map, so why not make a thing of it?After a long, tough winter, this step towards freedom is a good reason to celebrate, and I fully intend to be the person getting dressed up for every day out.
