Liverpool are currently in Austria for pre-season training and are due to play friendlies against Stuttgart on Saturday and Salzburg on Tuesday.
But the UK government has just announced that Austria has been added to its quarantine list. On the surface this is a problem for Liverpool, as they are due to take on Arsenal in the Community Shield next Saturday.
Assuming they stick to their schedule, this would mean that they will only be back in the UK for three days after the Salzburg friendly and before their match with Arsenal.
Currently, people are required to quarantine for two weeks upon returning from the countries on the list Austria has just been added to.
