Leeds United have announced the signing of Spain No 9 Rodrigo. The 29-year-old signs on a four-year deal after costing around £27m from struggling Spanish side Valencia.Rodrigo only notched four goals last term but has a solid reputation from his past exploits for club and country.And that is obvious due to the reaction of some of the Leeds players upon hearing the news the forward was arriving at Elland Road.
According to the Athletic, many Spanish players in Marcelo Bielsa's squad thought the signing would be impossible to secure - while others even text club chief Victor Orta to congratulate him on the deal.
The squad were said to be 'astonished' on Tuesday night when news came through that Rodrigo was Leeds-bound.Bielsa has always been.
