Leeds United fell through this summer. The 22-year-old has been an absolute star at the back for the Whites, playing in all 46 matches in the Championship as they landed the title.Marcelo Bielsa was desperate to hold onto the defender but he has returned to parent-club Brighton.Leeds made multiple bids for the Englishman but to no avail.Instead, White has signed a four-year contract - pledging his future to the Amex Stadium.

It puts to bed any speculation over his immediate future, with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United also interested.

But his agent Alex Levack has admitted White was disappointed a move to Leeds never happened.He told Sky Sports: "Of course [he is disappointed].
