More is coming to light about Alex Trebek's final months at home before his death. The "Jeopardy!" icon died on Nov. 8 at the age of 80 after fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
The game show's executive producer Mike Richards confirmed the television icon spent his final day doing what he loves: sitting on his swing alongside his wife, Jean Currivan, taking in the horizon.
But in the months leading up to his death, it turns out Trebek stayed busy, despite the summer months being his time away from the spotlight in-between seasons of "Jeopardy!" "I've just been doing little projects around the house, getting rid of stuff," Trebek told People magazine in a July interview.
