The Sukhoi Su-25 fired a missile that struck an empty fuel truck and hit a house, killing five people, in Chad, north-central Africa.
In the footage, which was widely shared on Twitter, the missile is seen flying mere metres above the ground at the Chadian Airforce’s Adji Kossei base on Friday.
It rips through a tanker and sends a cloud of vapour into the sky before narrowly missing a French C-130 Hercules and careering out of shot.
