HOLBY City fans were left open-mouthed when EastEnders legend Michael Greco made a surprise cameo in the show last night. The actor, 51 - who played Beppe di Marco in the BBC soap between 1998 and 2002 - took on the role of a man called Antony, who finds out his son Harry needs heart surgery.
The young lad was taken to A&E with a football injury, but doctors found a problem with his heart. Antony tried to put on a brave face for his son, but was also trying to come to terms with his failed marriage behind closed doors.
Viewers of the hit show were over the moon that Michael was back on their screens One wrote on Twitter: "Hellooo Michael / Beppe," with a love heart eyes emoji.
