Click inside to read more… Alex and the 39-year-old chef’s split was confirmed on Saturday (February 19). “Wishing her nothing but the best,” Michael shared in a statement with Closer Weekly. Alex and Michael first met back in 2016 when she was dining with friends at a restaurant where he was working as the chef at the time. “I was out to dinner with a friend, and at a restaurant, and I knew the waiter, and I was eating dinner and I said, ‘This steak is just so good,’” Alex previously shared with People. “And the waiter, my friend, said, ‘Oh my God, my best friend is the cook, the chef, here.
He’s amazing. You got to meet him.’ I went in to meet him and tell him the steak was delicious and that was it.” Michael proposed to Alex during her birthday weekend in June 2020.
Along with being a chef, Michael has also appeared as a competitor Iron Chef, Guy’s Grocery Game, and Chopped.
