12 Churchgate, in Bolton town centre, was most recently home to Ye Olde Wench and Trinkets, a jewellery and gift shop and psychic centre, with a line in clairvoyance, crystal ball and palm readings During the 19th century, the two-storey, Grade II-listed building was home to a temperance bar known as Smokey Joe’s, before becoming a coffee bar in the 1940s.

It eventually became Ye Olde Wench and Trinkets in 2007. The historic property will go under the hammer at auction next month, and has a guide price of just £32,000.
