Hibs have reached 7,000 season tickets sold despite the uncertain future of Scottish football. Since the packages went on sale in March, the Easter Road faithful have rallied behind their club to provide generous financial backing during the coronavirus crisis.

The Edinburgh club pushed back their early bird discount by a month last week. And in that week another 1,000 Hibs fans have secured their seat for the 2020/21 season.

That comes despite no assurances when fans will even be permitted to attend games, with some epidemiologists predicting such a return to normality cannot be allowed to happen without a vaccine or other treatment is developed.That could see no fans at games until early next year or later.The early bird discount was
