Kanye West has spent a lot of money on his political campaign so far. The 43-year-old musician, who is trying to get on the ballot for the upcoming Presidential election in a number of states, has shelled out almost $6 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Most of the money has come from a personal loan he made to his campaign, via a finance report that was filed with the Federal Election Commission on Friday, September 4.

The report says that Kanye was spent $5.86 million so far, with most of that money going toward consultants and fees, and he alone has given more than $6.7 million during July and August.
