variety.comBrent Lang Executive Editor “Heathers the Musical” is returning to New York after an extended run in London and throughout the United Kingdom.
The show will play a limited engagement through Sept. 28 at New World Stages, producers Bill Kenwright LTD., Paul Taylor-Mills and Jerry Goehring announced on Monday.
The return to New York is a coming home of sorts. “Heathers the Musical” originally opened in Los Angeles for a sold-out run in 2013 before transferring Off-Broadway to New World Stages in 2014.
The show features book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy (“Reefer Madness”) and Laurence O’Keefe (“Legally Blonde the Musical”).
