But headteacher Geoff Baker said the day's disruption could have been avoided if parents had kept the school informed.In a letter to families he said the school had discovered that one of the confirmed cases had been shared on social media on Saturday.It was only when the school called the parent on Monday to discuss the rumours, that the case was confirmed.
