Prince Harry reportedly told the Queen that he would be naming his daughter after her, but neglected to keep Palace officials in the loop about the birth of his little girl.
According to The Sun Online, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex kept Bucking Palace officials in the dark when they welcomed their baby Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on Friday 4 June.
It means the family will have heard the news alongside the rest of the world when the couple released a statement on their Archewell website on Sunday, which read: "On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.
