Weather forecasters predict more wind and freezing temperatures after Storm Eunice chaos as further warnings are put in place.The Met Office have issued further weather warnings following the worst gale force winds in 32 years.On Friday, the country was battered by winds after a "rare" red alert was issued which indicated a "significant danger to life."Thousands of homes have been left without power and a new yellow weather warning has been announced across the UK by the Met Office.The yellow warning for wind will be in place in England and Wales from midday on Sunday until 3pm on Monday.The north-west of England also has a yellow warning in place for rain from midnight to 6pm on Sunday, February 20.The weather will remain unsettled with rain moving in across the county and the temperature dramatically dropping later in the week.Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge told the Guardian, people should expect “wet and windy weather” to continue.He said: “Eunice is gone, but unfortunately things are not settling down.“There is another area of low pressure up near Iceland, and that will bring very strong winds again through Sunday. As well as that we’ve got reasonably heavy rain as well."He added: “There’s also a fair bit of snow, and the rain is going to melt it.

Talk-show legend Oprah Winfrey is set to host a two-night town hall tackling racism in America titled Where Do We Go From Here? in response to the protests for George Floyd.The special TV event is scheduled to air on June 9 and 10, and will be shown on Winfrey's OWN Network, as well as all 18 of Discovery's other networks, including Discovery Channel, TLC, HGTV and Science Channel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.'I've been having private conversations with friends and thought leaders about what's next and where we go from here,' Winfrey reportedly said in a statement - in regards to the unlawful killing of black unarmed man Floyd, at the hands of Minneapolis police.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – Oprah Winfrey is set to host a two-night town hall to discuss systemic racism in America and the current state of a country which has seen mass protests since the death of George Floyd at the hands of police officers in Minnesota. Titled “OWN Spotlight: Where Do We Go From Here?,” the town hall will be simulcast on OWN and all of its parent company Discovery’s 18 other networks. The special will feature Winfrey in conversation with a range of Black thought leaders, activists and artists.

Globally, more than 5.8 million cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed. According to data from Johns Hopkins University, more than 2.4 million have recovered from the disease while over 359,000 people have lost their lives battling the deadly virus. As scientists across the world work on a cure for the life-threatening disease, people are practicing social distancing to avoid contracting the virus. However, amid all the chaos, the essential workers have been performing their duties as usual. These workers have been putting their lives at risk to do their jobs and Grammys has decided to honour these brave souls.

CBS and the Recording Academy on Thursday announced plans for a two-hour special, hosted by Harry Connick Jr., honoring essential workers.The event — titled United We Sing: A Grammy Tribute to the Unsung Heroes — will see Connick and his filmmaker daughter, Georgia, taking a road trip in an RV from Connecticut to New Orleans, during which they will meet with essential workers and hear their stories fighting on the frontlines of the novel coronavirus pandemic.Along with the Connicks, more notable names will salute the public service of America's unsung heroes.

The Grammys are putting on a show in support of essential workers and they’re bringing out all the stars.
