A woman who was arrested after a man was left hurt in a 'disturbance' in Bolton has been released on bail, police have confirmed.
Officers descended on the scene of the incident on Chelburn Place, in the Halliwell area, on Monday morning (November 18). Pictures showed a number of police vehicles stationed in the residential cul-de-sac off Hatfield Road.
A man - aged in his 40s - was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be 'life-changing or life-threatening'. A woman - aged in her 30s - was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. In an update today (November 20), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said she has since been released on bail. No further details on the incident have been released at this stage.
