Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has believes the club's lack of transfer business means manager Jurgen Klopp "must feel he's got players coming through the system to fill the gaps".
The Reds have made just one signing this summer, bringing in Olympiacos left-back Kostas Tsimikas for £11.75m.They have also been heavily linked with Timo Werner and Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara but Werner ended up joining Chelsea and the Reds seem reluctant to pay Bayern's £27m asking price for Thiago.
And Souness believes there is a reason behind Liverpool's reluctance to make signings, telling Sky Sports : "I think it's telling you something. "I think Jurgen must feel he's got players coming through the system to fill the gaps when the current.
