On Monday, the government released a 50-page document outlining the next steps and rules as England moves to its next phase of lockdown.
Included in the document were plans to reopen non-essential shops, hairdressers and gyms, as well as new rules for exercising and driving to outdoor spaces.
But with an increasing number of shops now opening, the government is actively advising people to wear face coverings in indoor crowded areas, where you might not always be able to maintain a two-metre distance from others.
The document says: “If you can, wear a face covering in an enclosed space where social distancing isn’t possible and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet. “This is most relevant for short periods
