Fans were quick to share their disappointment on Twitter over the news, and they weren’t the only ones, as celebs are just as heartbroken to hear the iconic musical festival won’t be going ahead.
It’s following suit, after many festivals have already been affected by the virus, with Coachella being postponed and Radio 1’s Big Weekend cancelled too.
Laura Whitmore, an avid Glasto-goer, re-tweeted the official statement shared by Glastonbury for fans, while Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon posted the same to Instagram alongside an upset face.
