Gogglebox creator Tania Alexander has stepped down midway through filming the show's sixteenth series. Alexander had created and helmed the landmark Channel 4 series alongside creative director Tim Harcourt and studio founder Stephen Lambert.
According to Broadcast, showrunner Tania Alexander has departed Studio Lambert whilst Gogglebox is still producing its current series.
At the studio, Alexander was the director of factual entertainment for the All3Media indie and is thought to have been part of the company for around a decade.
In addition to Gogglebox, Alexander also oversaw other hit shows such as Undercover Boss and Seven Days. It is reported that four episodes remain the current 16th run of the hit Channel 4 series following
