GOOD Morning Britain's Kate Garraway has said it's been a "tough old week" for her husband Derek as he remains in intensive care following his coronavirus battle.

The 53-year-old star spoke out after being "blown away" by kind viewers who had offered her their CAR when she revealed their beloved family Volvo had been stolen.

Speaking to co-host Ben Shephard, the star confirmed that the car is still missing, but the generous messages from fans had helped her through.

Kate said of viewers: "They've been unbelievably nice, and it's been a bit of a tough old week for Derek so I haven't got back to anybody.
