Glasgow's biggest parks turns completely purple. Shocked locals scrambled to the banks of the Tollcross Burn in Tollcross Park to watch on as the flowing water turned a bright violet shade on Friday.

Amazing video footage captured by a dog walker, shows the burn, in the east end of the city, turn a bright violet shade. Locals speculated that the strange reaction might have been caused by a chemical spill.The cause of the change of colour is yet to be identified.The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) confirmed reports of the burn initially turning an 'inky black colour' on Wednesday night.Reports of a 'purple hue' were then reported on Friday.SEPA are still investigating the incident.A SEPA spokeswoman told the Record: “Every day.
