There was bizarre drama on a plane bound for the UK after a British passenger started hammering on the cockpit door. The flight from Turkey to Manchester was forced to make an emergency landing in Greece as crew members and helpful passengers fought to restrain the man.
He was shouting and was said to have been "hammering" on the door of the cockpit, to the alarm of the pilot and co-pilot on the Jet2 flight from Dalaman to Manchester, M.E.N reports.
The airline said the plane was forced to 'activate an emergency situation' just one hour into its journey on Wednesday night.
