Glasgow region are being extended to cover East Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire in an attempt to stop Covid spreading out of control.
The Scottish Government is adding the two council areas to the list one week after people in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire were banned from mixing in each other's houses, Nicola Sturgeon confirmed.
The major development comes after Scotland recorded 146 new cases of Covid-19 in the past day - with 78 of them in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde region.
