Glasgow car wash destroyed in horror blaze as fire crew battle flames for eight hours

Temple Road just after 1am on Saturday as fire crews battled the fire for eight hours. Six fire engines were sent out to extinguish the blaze.

Police officers are still on the scene as cops probe the fire which involved a building and a car. A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "Officers are currently in attendance at Temple Road in Glasgow continuing with enquiries after fire involving a car and a building which was reported at 1.15am on Saturday, 27 March." A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 1.15am on the 27th of March to reports of a fire on Temple Road.'We had six appliances on scene and our last appliance left at 9.26am."We are no longer in attendance."
