Prosecutors say Ghislaine Maxwell poses an "extreme risk" of fleeing justice if she is granted bail. The 58-year-old socialite is scheduled to appear before a judge in New York on Tuesday to be formally charged with procuring girls as young as 14 for Jeffrey Epstein.

She faces sex offences between 1994 and 1997 but it is believed she'll plead not guilty to them all.
