Gerard Butler has lifted the spirits of his fans by posting an epic video of him 'flying over water'. The Hollywood hunk took to Instagram to share the lighthearted video of his take on Superman as he appeared to glide across the water.

Posting the video, which has had over 60,000 likes, the actor from Paisley said: "We all need a little bit of Superman to get through these trying times.
