IT’S the news that George Michael fans have been waiting years to hear — a set of his unreleased songs are finally going to see the light of day.
The three tracks have been unearthed by the late megastar’s song writing partner and best pal David Austin who has helped create a film of George’s life.
He said: “There are three or four recordings that were finished. After Amy (Winehouse) had passed away, they pulled all those demos out of the drawer and started getting people involved in them. “We would never do that.
George’s body of work is his complete body of work. That is what we have to work with — and there are a few tracks that are finished.” David was speaking at an exclusive screening of the documentary George Michael Freedom Uncut, which the singer had been working on shortly before he was found dead at home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, on Christmas Day, 2016.
