A CLOSE family pal of George Michael has accused documentary makers of using film he took of the late star. Andros Georgiou, 59, said he shot scenes on a Sony Hi-8 camera and left tapes with the singer.
Andros — whose family was so close to George’s they called each other cousins — blasted the film Freedom Uncut. He said: “They are talking about this unseen footage that was found in George’s home. "Well, it was my footage.
I left it with George in his old house in Hampstead. George never carried a video camera. “I’ve complained to George’s estate over this new documentary, but been ignored. “I don’t have the money for a legal fight because it would be me against the estate — my bank account against theirs.” Music producer Andros, who toured the world with George — who died in December 2016 aged 53 — said his footage included scenes of the singer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-u6yh49{background-color:rgba(246,242,249,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
