He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne has joined the growing list of celebs to speak out about George Floyd's death. The United States has seen rioting and protests after sickening footage emerged of a police office kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck during his arrest in Minneapolis.
In the footage, Mr Floyd can be heard begging the officer to stop because he couldn't breathe - the officer does not let up.
Another piece of footage shows Mr Floyd being dragged from his car, and apparently not resisting arrest. Minneapolis Police have claimed that Mr Floyd "physically resisted officers" before his "medical distress." The four involved have been dismissed from the police force.
