The 59-year-old actor was speaking to The Mirror (via Today) during promotion for the film and opened up about how losing the 30 pounds for his role in it, caused him to be admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis.
While recovered now, George shared that he “was trying too hard to lose the weight quickly and probably wasn’t taking care of myself.” If you are unaware, acute pancreatitis is a disease in which the pancreas becomes inflamed.
