Hollywood superstar Matt Damon won over Irish hearts across the country when he spent months living Dalkey while filming this summer.
If we could give him honorary Irish citizenship, we probably would. He delighted people during lockdown with his many appearances in the Supervalu in Dalkey village and his trips to the local bathing spot along the Vico road.
Matt arrived in Ireland in early March to film The Last Duel with Ridley Scott and Ben Affleck but filming was halted due to lockdown and Matt was left stranded with his wife, Luciana Barroso, and three of their children, Isabella, Gia and Stella.
