Gary Lineker has slammed the view that Mohamed Salah is a “way better football player” than Wayne Rooney.The England legend took issue with a post shared on Twitter, which showed another user claiming the Liverpool star has surpassed retired Manchester United icon Rooney.
The controversial tweet read: “Unpopular Opinion: Salah is a way better football player than Rooney ever was. English tax makes Rooney look better.
