Hundreds of Scots have been condemned by police for invading a popular beauty spot and breaking lockdown rules. More than 200 sunseekers, mainly young people, headed to Campsie Glen in East Dunbartonshire over the last 48 hours and were moved on by officers - with four men arrested for various offences.

Chief Inspector Lorna Gibson, from East Dunbartonshire Police, had to draft in extra officers and vowed to get tough with louts.Inspector Gibson said officers witnessed countless groups of youths engaging in antisocial behaviour with some having no regard for the impact their behaviour was having on local residents.Speaking in a video posted on social media CI Gibson said: “Local officers and I are responding to a high demand for our
