Graeme Souness is in full disagreement with Jamie Carragher over whether Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford should have been sent off in the game against Liverpool on Saturday.
Just ten minutes into the derby, Pickford clattered Reds defender Virgil van Dijk as the centre-back attempted to get on the end of a cross.
Van Dijk was offside during the incident, and surprisingly VAR chose not to look back at the incident with regard to Pickford potentially being given his marching orders.
The Dutchman had to be taken off as a result, and it has now been confirmed he will need surgery on his knee and is facing a lengthy layoff.
