manchestereveningnews.co.ukcoronavirus.Health secretary Matt Hancock announced on Thursday (November 26) which areas would be placed in which tier.It is all part of the government's 'Covid Winter Plan' which was unveiled by the Prime Minister earlier this week.He then said there will be a return to "tougher" regional tiers and sees even stricter measures for areas placed in Tier 2 and Tier 3.The most notable change is that in Tier 3, hospitality will remain closed completely except for delivery and takeaway - just like during the national lockdown.In Tier 2, alcohol can only be served in hospitality as part of a substantial meal - which includes a full breakfast, main lunchtime or evening meal.
