Large swathes of England will still face tough restrictions on everyday life when the national lockdown ends on December 2, the Health Secretary hs confirmed.
Matt Hancock confirmed the initial tiers for local authorities across the country after Downing Street warned that many areas would find themselves in tougher restrictions than when the latest national lockdown began.
The new arrangements will apply from December 2 after England’s blanket lockdown ends and restrictions have been tightened after Government scientific advisers warned that previous measures had not been effective enough.
