Apple TV fans are praising the first two episodes of a classic film remake which stars a Friends icon. Directed by Taika Waititi, Time Bandits is based on the 1981 film of the same name.
With episodes releasing weekly, it follows 11-year-old Kevin (played by Kal-El Tuk) who encounters a group of thieves via a mysterious portal in his bedroom.
Together, they journey through various historical periods to steal treasures but their playful antics soon lead to unforeseen consequences.
Lisa Kudrow stars as Penelope, the leader of the time-travelling band of thieves. The actress is best known for portraying much-loved Phoebe Buffay in the hit 90s sitcom Friends.
