The Morocco international joined the Blues from Ajax in the summer as part of their huge spending spree, but had to wait to make his first-team bow due to a pre-season injury blow.The 27-year-old played for 18 minutes as Chelsea lost their lead at Stamford Bridge yesterday, but Lampard saw enough to suggest that the winger will play a key role further down the line.The former Derby boss said: “It’s hard, it’s hard because we are trying to find minutes for him.“He’s not ready to start a game yet, he’s pretty open about that in how he feels.“But with Premier League games it’s hard to make those sorts of judgments going into a game.“He came on for his 20 minutes.
