Frank Lampard gets Duncan Ferguson to perform Everton U-turn as coaching staff confirmed

Everton gaffer Frank Lampard has convinced Toffee's Duncan Ferguson to remain at Goodison Park.Ferguson, 50, earned himself cult-hero status at Everton after he spent ten years - over two spells - on Merseyside.And the Scottish-born forward stepped into the dugout after Rafa Benitez was sacked as the Toffees manager earlier this month.Ferguson was interviewed for the role on a permanent basis - alongside Vitor Pereira - but the former Chelsea star landed the role.And despite the pair going head to head for the role, Lampard has asked Ferguson to stay while links to the Sunderland hot seat persist.The rest Lampard's backroom staff at Goodison Park has also been announced.Joe Edwards will join as Lampard's Assistant Manager, Paul Clement as First Team Coach and Chris Jones as First Team Coach and Head of Performance.Edwards was promoted to Assistant Manager at Chelsea in 2019, the same year Lampard took the reigns of his former club.And Chelsea have confirmed he has left Thomas Tuchel's staff to reunite with Lampard.
