Marcus Rashford has sent a message to Manchester United teammate Donny van de Beek after he joined Everton on loan until the end of this season.
Interest in the rarely used Dutchman was rife heading into the final few days of the January transfer window. Crystal Palace and an unnamed club from overseas wanted to sign Van de Beek on a temporary deal.
However, with incoming manager Frank Lampard set to take charge at Goodison Park, it was the Toffees who won the race for his signature.
Van de Beek has passed a medical and Everton will pay his entire £120,000-a-week wage packet for the remainder of this term.
