Frank Lampard admits he feels the “high levels of pressure” that come with working under Roman Abramovich at Chelsea. The 41-year-old enjoyed great success in his 13-year playing career at Stamford Bridge, inspiring Chelsea to three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups and the Champions League.
He also became the Blues’ all-time record goalscorer, netting a total of 211 goals in 648 appearances, before returning to become their new head coach last summer.
Abramovich’s itchy trigger finger resulted in Lampard plying his trade under nine different managers in west London; developing a terrific bond with some, namely Jose Mourinho, and a frostier relationship with others, such as Andre Villas-Boas.
