France shooting: Three police gunned down and one wounded while responding to domestic
dailystar.co.ukpolice officers were alerted over the incident and were hit by gun shots after trying to approach a house where a woman had taken refuge, writes RMC.One of the officers died from his injuries while the second, claimed to be struck in the thigh, was transported by fire crews to the Ambert hospital centre.The suspect allegedly shot at the police near the house, shooting another two victims, states the Clermont-Ferrand prosecutor's office.It's also reported that firefighters are on site as the suspect has set fire to the property, and they are working to control the blaze.Reuters news agency state the woman fled to safety on the roof of the house, before the officers were shot at.The operation is still underway."At least 7 members of the GIGN.
