Trey Yingst has been promoted to chief foreign correspondent, while he will publish an account of his coverage of the Hamas attacks on Israel for the network’s book imprint.
Yingst joined the network in 2018 as a foreign correspondent. Since then, he has reported on the war in Ukraine and the U.S.
withdrawal from Afghanistan, and he embedded with the Hamas’s Al-Qassam brigades and the Israeli military. He also has interviewed Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leader of the Haqqani Terror Network, Anas Haqqani.
The book, Black Saturday, will be published by Fox News Books on Oct. 1. Yingst was in Tel Aviv at when the surprise Hamas attacks on Israel started.
