Police have arrested six men following the shocking incident, which happened at about 10.40pm yesterday in Bromwich Street. GMP said officers were called to reports of a stabbing, with a large group of people who were armed with weapons being involved in a fight.
Four men, aged between 30 and 45, were taken to hospital. Their condition is not described as life threatening.
