Premier League clubs who made European Super League breakaway 'agree to £20m fines each'

Premier League rebels Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham are said to have agreed on future punishments over breakaway plans.Players and supporters came out in force earlier this year against the intention to form a European Super League with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, forcing owners to scrap plans and apologise.While the threat of potential punishment had been looming, it appears as though steps have been taking to prevent similar moves being made in future.Sky News have reported that while the clubs have agreed to 'pay a combined sum of just over £20m as part of a settlement' potential fines of over £20m each and 30-point deductions have been detailed out to warn them off of.
