It's unlikely to bring about any massive changes to the game, and we probably won't see loads of new cosmetics leaked either, but based on what a few dataminers have suggested, the update could fix some 'major bugs' with the game.
The news of the update was confirmed via the games Fortnite Status Twitter account, who told players late on Tuesday: "Hi, everyone.
We have a maintenance patch requiring downtime scheduled to release on April 8." The good news, however, is that for players in the UK, you needn't worry about the game being offline.
