Crews were called to the fire at a commercial building on Bury Old Road just after 11pm on Saturday.A blaze started in the roof of the premises and in a first floor flat above it, the fire service said.The fire is understood to have happened at the Cheetham takeaway.Smoke could be seen billowing from a window above the premises last night.Pictures taken at the scene this morning show the windows left wide open.Three people 'self-rescued' from the building.It has not been confirmed whether they were injured in the fire or taken to hospital.Four fire engines were at the scene for around six hours.Police cordoned off Bury Old Road while firefighters.
