A football fan racially abused a goalkeeper in an attempt to put him off during a penalty shootout, a court heard. Dean Simpson, from Nantwich, hurled 'vile' racist abuse at Myles Boney during a game between Warrington Town and South Shields in September 2020.
The 24-year-old also made racist gestures at the goalie during a 'crucial point' in the match.
