Social media giant Facebook has announced plans to introduce a new feature to help keep children safe on the site. The announcement comes following claims that social media platforms owned by Facebook - including Instagram - may harm children.
It is hoped that the new functions will help the wellbeing of youngsters by prompting them to take a break from the app and 'nudging' teens if they continuously look at content deemed damaging, There are also plans to introduce new options controls which will allow parents and guardians to key an eye on their kids activity online, reports Wales Online.
